Police announce arrest of GPISD teacher for improper relationship with student

Grand Prairie police announced today that a Grand Prairie High School teacher has been arrested and charged with Improper Relationship Between Educator and Student and Aggravated Sexual Assault.

Grand Prairie ISD’s Young Women’s Leaders Academy hosted its first ever college signing day for its fifteen seniors that are the academy’s first graduating class.

Law Enforcement Torch Run to support Special Olympics visits six schools

The Grand Prairie Police Department held its sixth annual Law Enforcement Torch Run visiting six schools to support the Grand Prairie ISD’s Penny Challenge to support Special Olympics of Texas.

School District Superintendent and Mariachi Director selected for art awards

On May 15, 2017, Dr. Susan Hull, Grand Prairie ISD Superintendent, received the 2017 Superintendent Award and Marta Ocampo, Mariachi Director at Grand Prairie Fine Arts Academy, received the 2017 Teacher of the Year Award from the Arts Schools Network (ASN), the nation’s largest professional membership organization of specialized arts schools.
