Early morning fire destroys downtown restaurant

Grand Prairie firefighters responded around 2 am Thursday morning to a fire at the Hacienda Buffet, 409 East Main.

First arriving firefighters found the flames coming from the roof of the popular restaurant.

It took fire crews about an hour and half to put out the blaze that destroyed the business.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Woman dies from injuries in February 13 collision

A Grand Prairie woman died Saturday night at Medical City Arlington from injuries she suffered in a collision on February 13 at about 5 pm at the intersection of Highway 161 and Warrior Trail.
