Juvenile arrested after threat to Reagan Middle School

Grand Prairie police along with the Dallas FBI, arrested a juvenile today after an overnight threat on social media to the Ronald Reagan Middle School.

In a statement, police said, “Our Patrol officers, Detectives, and other GPPD personnel worked through the night to determine the validity of the post. Due to this being a pending criminal investigation and the fact that the suspect is a juvenile, no other information will be released.”

“Threats will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law in Grand Prairie,” the statement went on to say.

Grand Prairie ISD said Grand Prairie Police put additional security measures in place Tuesday morning at Reagan Middle School as well as all schools in the district for the safety and security of students, faculty, and staff.
