Grand Prairie woman dies of injuries in July 5 crash

A Grand Prairie woman died on July 6 from injuries she received in traffic collision on July 5 at the intersection of East Pioneer Parkway and Ranchita Drive.

At about 4:15 pm on July 5, Dolores Jensen, 53, was driving a 2001 Ford Taurus eastbound on Pioneer Pkwy when she failed to negotiate a curve and left the roadway, colliding with a light pole.

She was taken from the scene by a relative to Methodist Dallas Medical Center, where she died on July 6th at 9:41 pm.

The collision remains under investigation. This is the 6th traffic fatality in Grand Prairie this year.
