College signing day for Young Women’s Leadership Academy’s first graduating class

Grand Prairie ISD’s Young Women’s Leaders Academy hosted its first ever college signing day for its fifteen seniors that are the academy’s first graduating class.

Much like the celebratory signing of sports athletes, the seniors one by one announced on stage in front of the student body the college each have chosen to attend and then signed a letter of intent.

The graduating class has received acceptances from 152 colleges and universities across the United States with offers of academic and merit scholarships totalling nearly $1.5 million.
