Chance of rain, thunderstorms through Monday

The National Weather Service in Fort Worth said the active weather pattern will continue through the Memorial Day weekend with showers and storms possible everyday through late Monday.

Flash Flooding and River Flooding will be possible across nearly all of north and central TX during this time as well.

The first graphic shows the approximate timing for rain on Saturday. Rain chances increase along a Cisco to Gainesville line. A few strong to severe storms will be possible during this time across this area, but should be fairly isolated in nature. This limited severe weather risk is highlighted in the second graphic.

Rain chances increase through Saturday evening into Sunday morning for areas along the I-35 corridor. Rain chances will increase Sunday morning into Sunday afternoon for areas east of the I-35 corridor.

Additional rain and thunderstorm chances exist on late Monday across much of north/central TX per the third graphic attached.
